أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ الذِّكْرَىٰ وَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مُبِينٌ
13. How will there be for them a reminder [at that time]? And there had come to them a clear Messenger.
إِنَّا كَاشِفُو الْعَذَابِ قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّكُمْ عَائِدُونَ
15. Indeed, We will remove the torment for a little. Indeed, you [disbelievers] will return [to disbelief].
وَإِنْ لَمْ تُؤْمِنُوا لِي فَاعْتَزِلُونِ
21. But if you do not believe me, then leave me alone."
إِنَّ هَٰذَا مَا كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تَمْتَرُونَ
50. Indeed, this is what you used to dispute."
قَالُوا أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَأْفِكَنَا عَنْ آلِهَتِنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
22. They said, "Have you come to delude us away from our gods? Then bring us what you promise us, if you should be of the truthful."
وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا خَرَجُوا مِنْ عِنْدِكَ قَالُوا لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ مَاذَا قَالَ آنِفًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ
16. And among them, [O Muhammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge, "What has he said just now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires.
بَلْ عَجِبُوا أَنْ جَاءَهُمْ مُنْذِرٌ مِنْهُمْ فَقَالَ الْكَافِرُونَ هَٰذَا شَيْءٌ عَجِيبٌ
2. But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing.
يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ
9. Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded.
الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ
11. Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless.
أَتَوَاصَوْا بِهِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ
53. Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people.
