كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ أَخْذَ عَزِيزٍ مُقْتَدِرٍ
42. They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability.
فَعَصَىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ الرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُ أَخْذًا وَبِيلًا
16. But Pharaoh disobeyed the messenger, so We seized him with a ruinous seizure.
فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ
23. And he gathered [his people] and called out
فَقَالَ أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْأَعْلَىٰ
24. And said, "I am your most exalted lord."
