كَلَّا وَالْقَمَرِ
32. No! By the moon
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذْ أَدْبَرَ
33. And [by] the night when it departs
وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا أَسْفَرَ
34. And [by] the morning when it brightens,
لَا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
1. I swear by the Day of Resurrection
وَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ
2. And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].
يُوفُونَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَطِيرًا
7. They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.
وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا
1. By those [winds] sent forth in gusts
فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفًا
2. And the winds that blow violently
وَالنَّاشِرَاتِ نَشْرًا
3. And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]
فَالْفَارِقَاتِ فَرْقًا
4. And those [angels] who bring criterion
