فِي رَقٍّ مَنْشُورٍ
3. In parchment spread open
وَالسَّقْفِ الْمَرْفُوعِ
5. And [by] the heaven raised high
وَالْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ
6. And [by] the sea filled [with fire],
وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ
1. By the star when it descends,
۞ فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِمَوَاقِعِ النُّجُومِ
75. Then I swear by the setting of the stars,
ن ۚ وَالْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ
1. Nun. By the pen and what they inscribe,
فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ
38. So I swear by what you see
وَمَا لَا تُبْصِرُونَ
39. And what you do not see
فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِرَبِّ الْمَشَارِقِ وَالْمَغَارِبِ إِنَّا لَقَادِرُونَ
40. So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able
كَلَّا وَالْقَمَرِ
32. No! By the moon
