أَفَسِحْرٌ هَٰذَا أَمْ أَنْتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ
15. Then is this magic, or do you not see?
وَكَانُوا يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
47. And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
أَوَآبَاؤُنَا الْأَوَّلُونَ
48. And our forefathers [as well]?"
نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَاكُمْ فَلَوْلَا تُصَدِّقُونَ
57. We have created you, so why do you not believe?
فَلَوْلَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ
86. Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed,
يُنَادُونَهُمْ أَلَمْ نَكُنْ مَعَكُمْ ۖ قَالُوا بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمْ فَتَنْتُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ وَارْتَبْتُمْ وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْأَمَانِيُّ حَتَّىٰ جَاءَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَغَرَّكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ
14. The hypocrites will call to the believers, "Were we not with you?" They will say, "Yes, but you afflicted yourselves and awaited [misfortune for us] and doubted, and wishful thinking deluded you until there came the command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you concerning Allah.
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
25. And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"
إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَعِيدًا
6. Indeed, they see it [as] distant,
كَلَّا ۖ بَلْ لَا يَخَافُونَ الْآخِرَةَ
53. No! But they do not fear the Hereafter.
بَلْ يُرِيدُ الْإِنْسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ
5. But man desires to continue in sin.
