إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَنْ تَشِيعَ الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread [or publicized] among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah knows and you do not know.

(O ye who believe! Enter not houses other than your own…) [24:27-29]. Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ibrahimal-Tha‘labi informed us> al-Husayn ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Dinawari> ‘Abd Allah ibn Yusuf ibnAhmad ibn Malik> al-Husayn ibn Sakhtawayh> ‘Umar ibn Thawr and Ibrahim ibn Abi Sufyan> Muhammadibn Yusuf al-Firyabi> Qays> Ash‘ath ibn Siwar> ‘Adiyy ibn Thabit who said: “A woman from the Helperswent to see the Prophet and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, sometimes I am in my house in a state in which Ido not like anyone to see me, neither father nor son. But then the father comes in or another man of thefamily comes in while I am in that state, what shall I do?’ [As a response] this verse was revealed (O ye whobelieve! Enter not houses other than your own without first announcing your presence and invoking peaceupon the folk thereof)”. The commentators of the Qur’an said: “When this verse was revealed, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, may Allah be well pleased with him, said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, what about the inns and housesalong the roads of Syria which are uninhabited?’ Allah, exalted is He, then revealed ((It is) no sin for you toenter uninhabited houses) [24:29]”.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَن تَشِيعَ الْفَـحِشَةُ فِى الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالاٌّخِرَةِ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ
(19. Verily, those who like that Fahishah should be circulated among those who believe, they will have a painful torment in this world and in the Hereafter. And Allah knows and you know not.)
This is a third instance of discipline directed at those who hear evil talk, believe it to some extent, and start to spread it; they should not spread such talk or pass it on to others. Allah says:
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَن تَشِيعَ الْفَـحِشَةُ فِى الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
(Verily, those who like that Fahshah should be circulated among those who believe, they will have a painful torment) meaning, those who like to see evil talk about them (the believers) appear,
لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ فِى الدُّنْيَا
(they will have a painful torment in this world) means, because of the prescribed punishment, and in the Hereafter because of the torment in Hell.
وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ
(And Allah knows and you know not.) means, return the matter to Him and you will be guided. Imam Ahmad recorded from Thawban that the Prophet said:
«لَا تُؤْذُوا عِبَادَ اللهِ وَلَا تُعَيِّرُوهُمْ، وَلَا تَطْلُبُوا عَوْرَاتِهِمْ، فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ طَلَبَ عَوْرَةَ أَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ طَلَبَ اللهُ عَوْرَتَهُ، حَتَّى يَفْضَحَهُ فِي بَيْتِهِ»
(Do not annoy the servants of Allah, nor abuse them, nor seek their hidden shortcomings. Whoever seeks out the faults of his Muslim brother, Allah will expose his faults and degrade him, even if he is hiding in his house.)

Baik bagi hati maupun badan. Yang demikian karena sifat ghisy (keinginan merugikan) saudaranya kaum muslimin, ingin keburukan menimpa mereka, dan berani menodai kehormatan mereka. Jika ancaman ini disebabkan karena keinginan agar perkara keji tersebar di tengah-tengah kaum mukmin, lalu bagaimana jika ditampakkan dan dipindahkan ke tengah-tengah kaum muslimin? Ini semua termasuk rahmat Allah kepada hamba-hamba-Nya kaum mukmin dan untuk menjaga kehormatan mereka, sebagaimana Dia telah menjaga darah dan harta mereka, dan memerintahkan mereka sesuatu yang dapat membuat mereka tetap bersatu dan agar mereka saling mencintai kebaikan didapatkan oleh saudaranya.
Dengan mendapatkan had qadzaf.
Dengan mendapat neraka.
Oleh karena itulah, Dia mengajarkan kamu dan menerangkan kepada kamu apa yang tidak kamu ketahui.
